On October 20, 2016, nearly 200 allies and members of the of the LGBT community gathered at HSBC Tower to discuss LGBT equality as a worldwide human rights issue that can be championed by both the public and private sectors.
Powered by the OPEN Finance Guest Speakers committee and sponsored by Aon and HSBC, an esteemed group of panelists included Charles Radcliffe, Chief, Equality & Non-Discrimination at the United Nations, Deena Fidas, Director, Workplace Equality Program at the Human Rights Campaign and Jennifer Brown, Founder, President of Jennifer Brown Consulting. The evening was moderated by HSBC’s Vice President, Corporate Sustainability, Ray Johnson and focuses on ways to promote and facilitate LGBT rights across the world, and how measurement can help to increase impact.
The featured panelists gave their views on what Corporate America has done to date, and what more can be achieved in the evolving LGBT movement.
